Oro Grande FCU Members Vote to Merge
into Bourns EFCUAt a special
meeting of its members on Sunday, February 17, members of Oro Grande
FCU voted to merge their credit union into Bourns EFCU effective May
1, 2008.
"We're honored that Oro Grande members
selected us as their merger partner and look forward to serving them
in the future," stated Bourns EFCU CEO Elizabeth Lipke. Lipke
indicated that the office and staff of Oro Grande will remain in place
extending the footprint of Bourns EFCU into the high desert.
The merger will result in an immediate 25%
growth in membership and a nearly 8% growth in assets for Bourns EFCU. |
